Bluegg's 16th Christmas

So here we are again... The end of yet another year and our annual look back at the highs and lows before signing off with our Christmas video with a difference.

We'll be closing the studio doors at 12pm on Thursday 20th December, and will be back ready to start 2019 with a bang at 8:30am on Wednesday 2nd January.

Firstly I’ve got to say, this year we may have let some of our “fans” down.

I mean... We always leave it a little late, but this year was unprecedented—so because of a very busy schedule, our annual Christmas Video was cut as quickly as a gym membership in February. That’s the low.

In a way, you can say that we’ve let the team off the hook by not getting them to dress up, write a rap, or dance on the roof with a snow machine!

So you’ll see something different, but nonetheless a video that we’re equally as proud of. It’s a real celebration that we hope you enjoy :)

This will be the 16th time that Tom and myself have seen the end of a Bluegg year, and I’m still amazed by the progress we’ve made and the brilliant work we’ve put out.

The word of the year is strategic (even though it’s featured every year!)

What’s been obvious is that our clients have really wanted more from their brand so we’ve pushed harder and delivered more.

We’ve been strategic in every way. From brand strategies and naming, to delivering edgy eye-catching campaigns, bold motion work, and websites with long term digital marketing campaigns... all working together as thoughtful, effective and strategic design.

It’s been a good year... A great year! A record year! But beyond the financials it’s been a year that’s worth celebrating, not only because of the work but because of the team.

They’re an amazingly talented bunch who we can’t thank enough, and the new additions have been no exception.

Jack, Dave and Kelly have brought new skills and a new energy. We're delighted to call them Blueggers. We’ve also welcomed two Bluegg babies in Fin (Nath and Beth) and more recently Lyra (Naima and Jarrod).

So we wave farewell to 2018 with fondness, and look forward to what 2019 has in store (we’ve already a packed Q1). We’ll be pushing growth by delivering more of the same—great team, great clients and great work.
